Happy New Year!

I hope you had a lovely Christmas! Has anyone else lost track of what day it is?

Thank you so much for all your support in 2019! I’ve been super busy with my new book Cosy Alpaca Knits and loved seeing lots of you at Woolfest, Yarndale and Yarn Expo. Thank you for coming to see me at events, for buying from my shop and downloading my patterns – it really means the world to me.

Have you set yourself any plans for 2020? I’m not a huge fan of new years resolutions… but I have a goal I want to set myself for the year and if I share it on here then I’ll have lots of accountability partners!

I’m sure someone else was doing this last year… maybe Eleanor from Knit Nottingham? – give me a shout if it was you so that I can credit you for inspiring me!

Casting on new projects is always the exciting bit and this rule will hopefully help motivate me to finish off some old projects so that I can do new exciting things… like only being allowed cake after you’ve eaten all the broccoli. To be fair I like broccoli almost as much as cake so that’s not the best analogy, but you know what I mean!

Feel free to use the above image on social media if you want to pledge to do the same. Please tag me on Instagram (#jemweston) and then we can check in with each other to see if we’re sticking to it!

Have a Happy New Year everyone!

  1. I took the month of December to go through all my WIPs. Surprisingly, I had fewer than I thought. I decided to finish those I liked and frog those I didn’t. I wanted to start the new year with a clutter free mind. Congratulations on your new book. Regina
