The Jem Weston online shop has re-opened!
You might have seen me re-launch the shop over on the virtual Yorkshire Yarn Fest last Saturday… my video is still on their page if you want to hop over for a watch. I had a couple of technical issues so apologies for the blurryness!
On the shop – I have copies of Cosy Alpaca Knits and yarn packs to knit the Alpaca Pillow, Tassel Pillow, Audrey Alpaca & Colin Cria, the Tassel Wall Hanging and Tassel Socks.
I should hopefully also have yarn packs for the Cosy Alpaca Blanket back in soon… I’m just waiting on the turquoise. Let me know if you want me to reserve a pack for you when I receive the yarn.
I also have some Cute Comfort Knits yarn packs – and don’t forget that all of those patterns are now available individually and as an Ebook from both my Ravelry and Love Knitting pattern shops.
I’ve got limited stock of The Knitted Nursery Collection left and won’t be stocking up again once they’re all sold… just a little warning!
In order to keep contact/risk low, I will be limiting my post office trips to once a week (on Tuesdays) for the time being, so apologies in advance for any delays.
All overseas orders will be posted using the Royal Mail Tracked service and you will receive a tracking number once your order is dispatched. All UK orders are still being sent via Royal Mail 1st Class – but if you want to upgrade to special delivery please just contact me for a quote.
Thank you so much to everyone who has continued to buy patterns while my online shop has been temporarily closed – I really appreciate your support!
Happy shopping x
I mentioned a while ago that Cute Comfort Knits is now out of print… so if you (like me) love to have physical knitting patterns/books – you need to snap up a copy soon!
I still have some copies available to buy on the Jem Weston Shop and some Rowan stockists still have copies available so keep your eye out.
All of the patterns from Cute Comfort Knits are now available to buy individually or as an e-book collection on Ravelry and Love Knitting.
You can also still buy yarn packs for some of the most popular projects from Cute Comfort Knits over on my shop. The yarn packs are available to buy on their own (for those who already have a copy of Cute Comfort Knits), as ‘yarn pack & pattern’ or ‘yarn pack & e-book’.
If you choose to include the pattern or e-book with your yarn pack purchase, I will email you a PDF of the pattern or e-book, but if you prefer working from a print out and don’t have access to a printer – please get in touch and I can pop a print-out in with your yarn pack order.
Have you ever gifted someone a pattern on Ravelry? It’s easy to do and a lovely idea for a Christmas gift!
It’s been a busy couple of weeks!
I’ve really enjoyed catching up with knitters who I’ve met before at workshops, shows and events and it’s been super lovely to meet some new people who have just discovered my patterns or are new to knitting.
A special bleat out to everyone who has brought along their knits from my patterns to events over the last couple of weeks! I love seeing your creations and how things look in different yarns/shades. I often forget to take photos so feel free to give me a nudge!
The busy season kicked off with afternoon tea at Black Sheep Wools. I had a lovely time and you can watch my pre-cake chat with Sara below. Apologies if you can’t hear me very well – there was some background noise and I’m a bit quieter than Sara (no offence Sara!).
Details of my green top here.
And then it was Yarndale! We had a bigger stand this year which gave us room to dance and also meant the slightly leaky roof wasn’t a problem because I could keep things away from the drips. Thank you everyone who came to say hello – I hope you’re enjoying your kits, yarn packs and books!
If you missed out on the Hexi Blanket pattern – you can click below to purchase via Ravelry.

This week I took the Cosy Alpaca Knits over to Wales for a little book party at Yarn O’clock in Mold. A lovely customer brought along her beautiful Deer Cushion, Haggis Hedgehog and Smudge the Cat to show me – all knitted from Cute Comfort Knits.
I love Smudge as a ginger tom cat! And Haggis works perfectly as a pin cushion. All of the Cute Comfort Knits patterns are now also available individually on my Ravelry and Love Knitting shops.
Looking forward to seeing more of you at events and workshops over the next few weeks!
I’ve been busy getting ready for Yarndale and I know some of you are as well. I hope your pre-Yarndale knitting is going better than mine… I might be wearing half a cardigan!
From now until Wednesday at 2pm, you can order any of my books to be collected at Yarndale. To remove the postage cost simply enter the code YARNDALE19 at the checkout and I will have it ready for you at the show.
Don’t forget to let me know in the ‘notes’ section if you would like the book to be signed to yourself or someone in particular.
This year I have a double stand – so hopefully you’ll all fit on! You can find me at H109 which is almost directly opposite where we’ve been for the last few years so you should be able to find me easily.
I will be announcing a little Yarndale giveaway in my newsletter this week so make sure you’re signed up!
Because you’re not able to shop with me in person at Yarn Expo today – I thought I would treat you to a 10% discount on anything you purchase from my shop… for one day only!
Visit the Jem Weston Shop and use the code EXPO18 to claim your discount.
The discount code will expire at midnight tonight (Sunday 11th November) GMT.
Happy Shopping! x

2017 has been such an exciting year for me – in August I launched my third book Cute Comfort Knits and the response has been amazing!
Like me – you seem to enjoy knitting small projects for the house and little toys for gifts or yourselves. Thank you to everyone who has bought a copy of Cute Comfort Knits – I really love seeing your finished projects over on Instagram!
Yarn packs and books are still available over on my shop, where you can also find copies of my second book The Knitted Nursery Collection and yarn packs for your favourite projects from there.
My highlights of 2017 were (as always) the yarn shows! It was my third year exhibiting at Yarndale and I love it a little bit more every year. I also exhibited at the first ever Nottingham Yarn Expo and really enjoyed having a show in my home town.
Thank you for all your support in 2017 and a very Happy New Year! x
Last weekend was the first ever Nottingham Yarn Expo and it was so good to do a show in my home town! There were lots of local people – both stallholders and customers and I met so many lovely people. Thank you to everyone who came to say hello!
The open plan stands worked really well. I have to admit – I did panic when I found out there were no walls! But it made the space feel really open and I got to know my lovely stand neighbours.
The Pheasant Cushion from Cute Comfort Knits was the star of the show and Ollie Elephant from The Knitted Nursery Collection got a huge amount of cuddles! Both books and the accompanying yarn packs are available from my shop and would make lovely Christmas gifts!
I got in early on the Sunday so that I could have a mooch around before the show opened and there were so many gorgeous hand-dyed yarns. My favourite stand was Moel-Veiw Yarn. Gorgeous yarns, beautiful display – and the best project bag ever!
You’ll be pleased to hear that I was very well behaved and only treated myself to one skein of sock yarn (for my sockdrobe challenge next year) from my lovely stand neighbours Skein Queen.
Thank you Dad, Steph, Rich and Andrew for helping me get everything to and from the show and helping me to set-up x
I’m so excited to be exhibiting at Yarn Expo next weekend – the first yarn show in my home town of Nottingham!
I will be bringing copies of The Knitted Nursery Collection and my new book Cute Comfort Knits.
I will also have yarn packs for some of the most popular projects in The Knitted Nursery Collection…
And yarn packs for some of your favourite projects in Cute Comfort Knits…
Perfect for Christmas gifts or Christmas day knitting projects!
I will also have some old favourites, including kits for the Triangle Hat, Bobby Scarf & Hat, the Dice Cowl, Twinkly Beaded Collar and the Lazy Lace Cowl.
So make sure you get to me nice and early before I run out!
I’ve also done a big shop update, so if you can’t make it to Yarn Expo you can still join in with the shopping here.
While you’re in town – make sure you pop in to Knit Nottingham as well! Just a stones throw from the show.
See you there! x
